There will be a diversity of small business and investment opportunities within the Mulberry Patch. The emloyment potential is significant since Mori- and Seri-culture are labour-intensive processes that lend themselves to job creation at almost every level of development. In addition to construction opportunities involved in establishing the site, there is job potential for farm labourers, training and educational opportunities and sharing of technology and skills. A dedicated skills bank and data base is already under construction.
