The Haggatts Plantation lends itself admirably to cultural, learning and social events including Moonlight Jazz and poetry readings, Bonfire Bar-b-ques, fashion events and workshops. The opportunity to integrate persons who resonate the "100% Bajan" theme, will be accommodated through showcasing produce, products, skills, talents and services in the monthly Harvest Moon MarketPlaces.

The lunar life cycle of the Silkworm will inform the 13 events on the Mulberry Patch calendar, which will be planned to encourage locals and visitors to patronise the District, the farmers and artisans. The market will supply fresh produce in season, preserves and baked goods, arts and crafts to encourage financial and social sustainability within the community, create linkages and networks and share information and services.
